So what does the title of this post mean? Well, for starters….did you know that every Giraffe has a unique spot pattern on their coat? And did you know that Giraffe Ink Tees have a very cool and unique style about them? If you didn’t know these two facts already, then I suggest you read more…. Normally I would refrain from writing about a t-shirt shop that utilizes one of the big brand digital printers because the quality is...

The amount of time that goes into some of these t-shirt designs is absolutely mind-boggling. The thought process it takes to create the details is equally as mind blowing. Pale Horse Design is a great example of this. The first design, Ritual Skull , is so exceptional that it makes you forget they are a 1-color black print on white shirts. The oversized design is a plus for the amount of detail because it …  Read More →

I went to look at Brand New Intention like I do all the brands that email me. Something caught my eye and it was the name J3 Concepts . I have followed Jared’s work for quite some time and seeing his name attached to this brand made me stick around a little bit. Having an artist create a t-shirt design can give your brand a turbo boost out of the gates. The two designs that J3 hooked Brand New Intentions up with …  Read More →

Color Overload usually covers a clothing line or designer and rarely strays from that genre. We don’t cover many videos here unless there is one that blows us away. Well….one just did. This may be a t-shirt video that you’ve seen on other t-shirt blogs because quite frankly, it should go on every t-shirt blog on the interwebs. It is that good! This video involves 222 t-shirts worn by 2 guys in 2 days. Oh and 1 fire extinguisher....

I just have to take a break from my regularly scheduled t-shirt line review to bring you what may possible be the t-shirt of the year. And I know what you are thinking…..how can you make that claim in January? It’s easy, when you see this shirt, you will understand completely. I don’t want to say too much because the shirt speaks for itself. Here goes: This magical design was created by Murray Mullet with three real t-shirts....

If you have been to the Overload before, you know that we are a fan of clean design. Color coronations and subject matter can go a long way even if the designs are considered simplistic. Complexity is not a requirement for good t-shirt design. Devicious is a great example of what I’m talking about. Devicious was started by two graphic designers out of Ohio and their style is clean, minimal, and somewhat quirky. The color combinations perfectly...

I can’t remember where I first heard about or came across the three t-shirt offerings by Terminus. I made sure I bookmarked them so I would know to go back and look again later. The funny thing is… when I came back to check them out, it appears Terminus has taken on a whole new meaning. It appears Terminus has become much more social and allows you to include your t-shirt store within their system. That whole subject matter will...

It’s easy to find t-shirts to buy on the internet if you are friendly, but what about if you are a freak? Being a freak can sometimes present obstacles when trying to shop and find clothing that matches your freaky style. Well, I’ve got good news….I’ve found a t-shirt line that works for both friends and freaks…. I’m talking about Lowdtown and they don’t discriminate, they were made for both friends...

A lot of you peeps are buying t-shirts right now like they are going out of style. Christmas time is one of the best times of the year to load up on tees because of all the sales and special deals. You can really rack up if you play your cards right. This is also the time of year that you can justify buying t-shirts for others to help spread the t-shirt obsession around. What if you were able to…  Read More →

Designers absolutely love typographical t-shirts. This infatuation has been going on for a very long time. The type tee can be a wonderful thing when it is done correctly. PSDFan recently came up with a list of 30 stylish typography t-shirts that you’ll want to check out… Typically these typography tee shirt lists can be a bit bland. That was a mouthful but it is true. The design community’s love for Helvetica can make a nondesigner...

That was a mouthful of a title but I had to do it. I was running through the various t-shirt related news sites and I came across some subject matters that were familiar. Basically, the three things that caught my eye were related to previous posts on Color Overload. So let’s all take a trip down memory lane…. It begins with an email I received from one of our fave t-shirt shops – Holebrain – about their site redesign....

Ript Apparel seems to be getting better with age. I have followed these guys for a while now and some of their latest prints have to be hits. The colors and designs are so compelling… it just looks like they’re getting into a groove. I don’t know when the last time you have checked out their wears, but today’s shirt and a recent print called Campione really caught my eye. Campione’s colors go together …  Read More →

As I sat down to prepare the Halloween edition post for Color Overload, I started to think this may be tougher than I thought. With the increasingly popular trend of gruesome designs including zombies and guts, you might think it’s Halloween year-round in our world. With that said, a few things worth mentioning is the autumn pre-holidays so being held at Design By Humans . The tees are starting at $15 and the sale ends midnight Sunday....

Why do we see the majority of new clothing lines with single color prints on their t-shirts? It’s pretty simple economics…it’s much cheaper. The only problem with that is, a single color design is much harder to sell with people or a high quality multicolor designs in the t-shirt marketplace. With all that said, it is very refreshing to see a line like Holebrain doing the single color print and making it look good. In…  Read More →

I have never seen so many t-shirt designs in one single thread. And the best part…they are all for sale. These designs are of the highest quality to with styles that appeal to every design taste. Where is this design oasis you ask? None other than Emptees , of course. The thread was started by the t-shirt design guru Wotto , and it is serving as a place where any member of Emptees can hawk their goods. Selling designs on Emptees is nothing...
