Let me just warn you up front. The reason the T Addict is writing about 8-Bit Zombie is because I was first blown away by the foam trucker hats they’ve created. But since that seems almost sacrilegious for the T Addict to write an exclusive post about hats…8-Bit Zombie does have one t-shirt that I can write about first. The premise behind 8-Bit Zombie is the throwback reference to the original gaming systems with 8-bit graphics....

The T Addict loves it when a site genuinely asks its readers/customers for help on a redesign or suggestions for the direction of a business. 200 Nipples has done just that in a recent post on their blog asking for help on a complete overhaul of their site. They’ve put together a quick customer survey that should take you less than 5 minutes to fill out. Help them out if you can and tell ‘em the T Addict sent ya’.  Read More →

Rubens Scarelli hails from Brazil and has been designing as a full time job since 1987. That fact alone means you should listen to what he has to say if you are interested in t-shirt design. While his skills aren’t exclusively used for t-shirt design, it has played a major part of his career since the very beginning over 22 years ago. He was recently interviewed by Vectortuts and they give us an inside peek into his design process. Typically...

Unless you live in a cave in Afghanistan you have either seen or heard of MTV’s latest reality show – Jersey Shore . It follows a group of friends from New Jersey living in one house and partying together all the time. There are certain features about them that are undeniable including but not limited to being overly tan, overly muscular, and overly over the top. If you have seen the show, then you will love this video from Funny or...

Flymouse365 just released a new shirt that the T Addict had to write about. Check it out: I admit I’m a sucker for these types of life playing out on two levels shirts. With antlers like that it would truly be a terrifying experience all around to see this fellow in your headlights. It’s printed on an American Apparel shirt and is only available for the next seven days so snap it up while you can before it becomes an endangered species....

The latest addition to the Fuzzy Ink family is “ I Am The Walrus ” and yes my friend….you are the walrus. This shirt is an absolute showstopper. The walrus is an extremely regal character but yet he can still rock the trendy urban jacket with a plaid button-down underneath. He’s not formal but certainly could be. I’ll bet he even brushes that mustache after he shines those tusks. Damn fine Walrus… the T Addict...

The hardest workin’ man in t-shirt blogging just announced his resolutions for the new year. Coty from Coty Gonzalez just gave us an update on his goals/accomplishments from last year and his plans for 2010. What may seem like lofty goals for most looks very attainable for Coty because of his consistency and exploding growth in popularity. Andy at Hide Your Arms weighed in his thoughts about the new year and decided he has a few things...

This economy sucks. It’s sucked for a while now and we can all agree that we’re tired of it. There are indicators out there showing that we are poised for a comeback, albeit a slow one. Those that have fought hard and stuck with their original plan in business should come out stronger and smelling like roses. For most of you, that business is …  Read More →

The T Addict is a sucka for t-shirt lists. This comes as no surprise to all 3 of my faithful readers. If you have been here since the beginning, you know that we like to show love to the blogs that take the time to create a cool list and post pictures of what they have found. This time the spotlight goes on Threadspot for their list of funny heart t-shirt parodies that are both clever and cool. What has probably been the most bootlegged copyright...

The T Addict has a special tee to share with his fellow addicts. It comes from the original t-shirt blogging gangsta Andy at Hide Your Arms . He has decided after four glorious years that it is finally time to create a tee shirt of his own. We commend you for that and you couldn’t have a picked a better designer than Ray from Lowdtown . Great idea and even better execution!  Read More →

I just came across a really cool article by our friend Blake at You Design It about how a t-shirt designer can develop a strong following . Imagine how happy I was when I saw that he included a screenshot featuring the T Addict under the section called “Show Your Personality.” I am pretty sure the reference was to Rusty Eight showing his personality in an interview with  Read More →

Many of you fellow T Addicts have heard of Jon Kruse before. He is a one-man t-shirt wrecking crew. He has started two successful t-shirt lines, Mediocore and Shred , and runs the popular t-shirt blog How to Start A Clothing Company . If none of those sound familiar to you then you have surely run into him at Emptees where he is one of the most prolific members. He recently did an interview with Storenvy on HTSACC because he has been so pleased...

Any time t-shirts are mentioned in the mainstream blogosphere, the T Addict’s ears perk up a little. It’s nice to see when our world gets the recognition it deserves. It just shows that our community is growing and spilling over into some different genres. Most recently, Smashing Magazine did a mega-post showcasing online t-shirts stores . So why is this significant? Because Smashing Magazine is a beast in the design blog niche. They...
